Transformers, Bunnies, and Talents

Asher is playing soccer again in our neighborhood league. His team is the Transformers (love the team name!). He's not the best player on his team but he is definitely making progress from last season. He actually trys to kick the ball instead of just wandering around the field. : )

Sage roaming the sidelines.

On Saturday, we also found a new bunny for Asher. Satches is a dwarf lop and is hopefully already fully-grown. He seems very calm but he might also just be scared. : )

On Sunday, I asked Asher what he learned about in his primary class. He said he learned about talents and I asked him what his talents were expecting him to come up with one or two things. He started listing all the things he's good at and ended up with a list of about twenty things including painting with green and blue, helping me clean, helping cook, helping with Kelton, climbing ladders (kid ones, not dangerous ones), jumping, painting with pink and purple, etc. etc. I love that kids are not modest about their talents. An adult would have a hard time coming up with a few things, but not Asher. : ) According to Asher, Kelton's talents are smiling and rolling, Mom is good at making banana bread, Dad is good at climbing the ladder to the attic, and Sage doesn't really have any talents. : )

Three laughs. Imagining Asher roaming around the field, Rulon being good at climbing the ladder to the attic and Sage, not having any talents. Thanks for the laughs.

Glad you have a new pet. Love the soccer pictures. I'm starting to wonder why we run around to soccer games all through the fall. :) I like the list of talents. I'm going to ask my kids this same question when they get home today. I'm very curious what they think our families' talents are. I'll cry if they say, "Mom is good at sleeping."
