We went to the Rodeo and Stock Show today. We hadn't been to the grounds before so it was fun to see what it was like. I grew up going to small fairs and participating in 4-H but this was huge! It was the biggest fair I've been to. It was fun to see all the different breeds of animals although I don't think Sage would agree. : ) Sssshhhh! Don't tell her there are cows behind us in this picture. She didn't realize it, otherwise she would be screaming.
Rulon also took the kids on some rides. Asher loved them all and Sage was having a ball until the game operator told her she was too short to ride by herself on the ladybug ride. She then sulked for a good half hour. Girls!

HOW FUN! Okay you're making me jealous posting pics of you and your family in short sleeves and flip flops!
You are the best at finding every fun thing to do in S.A. Have you been to the O.P. Schnabel park on Bandera? It's almost like really being in nature. Even our anti-Texan, Christopher, said "This is the most New Hampshire-y place we've been." Marriah got to go to Junie B. Jones, too, with school. I love your reports on the kids' funny antics.
How fun! Don't you love strong and determined 2 year olds! Though now I have to love strong and insistent 3 year olds!
my, my, that's a lot of bovines.
It is fun there, huh? We'll have to try out the rides next year.
