Sage has started to earn an allowance for making her bed each day and cleaning her room each evening. On Saturday she received 80 cents and we talked about how 8 cents would go to Heavenly Father. On Sunday she dutifully went off to church with her nickel and 3 pennies clutched in her little hand. She handed them over to a member of the bishopric (Daddy) with just a little reluctance. Later that afternoon, she had this conversation with Rulon.
S: Dad, where are you going? (He was getting ready to go back to the church for meetings)
R: To the church.
S: Oh Good! Can you go get my allowance back?
Guess we need to work on that concept a little more.
