This post is for Shalene who says I need to update my blog. She probably won't be asking again soon! ; ) This is the most exciting thing about my day...a new combination toilet seat. I actually really love it. No more moving Kelton's gross germ-laden toilet seat (which has been used by 3 children for potty training) aside anytime anyone else wants to use the toilet. Actually this seems really well made and the potty seat recedes into the lid with a magnetic catch when not in use. Can I hear the oohs and ahs? Pretty sad how excited I am about this.
Actually lots of more "traditionally" exciting things have been going on around here. I just got back from a girls weekend in St. George and was away from the kids for four whole days. They actually didn't seem all that upset because Rulon spoiled them with movies, new books, ice cream, and lunchables at church while he counted tithing. It was so nice to get on an airplane and just sit down and nap or relax with my book without stressing over the kids and working hard to avoid meltdowns and trying hard to keep Kelton from climbing over seats and running up and down the aisle. I guess I have that to look forward to in June.
My weekend was fun and relaxing. It was fun to see Rulon's family (at least the female ones) and play games and just visit. We also had a nice bridal shower for Xanna. I also really liked the Parade of Homes and discovered my "someday" house. Pictures courtesy of Katie's blog.
Rulon and I are approaching our 10th anniversary in a little over a week and we have big plans. I'll have a lot to blog about when we're back. Well, that's about it. More to come...
