Easter in Victoria

Rulon had to work in Victoria, TX over Easter weekend so we all decided to go with him. We rented a cute little historic cottage which made it nice to have all the space and not worry about the kids waking up people in a hotel. First we went to the beach in Port LaVaca which is about 30 minutes away. It was very windy but I think it's impossible for my kids not to have fun at any beach. We like this beach because it's very family friendly with bathrooms nearby, you can park right on the beach and it's very shallow for a long way out. Also, the cost of $3 per car is great!

The doctor that Rulon was filling in for sponsored us at the Country Club brunch and easter egg hunt. They had bunnies and chicks to pet and Asher was in heaven. I practically had to drag him out so he could participate in the easter egg hunt.
