Yesterday was Labor Day so we decided to check out the Guadalupe River State Park. It is about an hour's drive from our house and very pretty. We took a picnic dinner and then played in the river for the rest of the evening. The river was pretty with relatively clear water and stone walls on one side with grass on the other. Next time we'll know to bring water socks but we had a fun time.
