Tonight at dinner we were feeding all 5 of the kids (mine and the cousins) leftovers from New Year's Eve. We were having cocktail shrimp as well as asparagus tips. We warned all of the kids not to eat the tails, meaning of course not the shrimp tails. A few minutes later, we heard a chorus of, "Sage ate all the tails!!!!" from all of the kids except Sage. We turned to see Sage looking at us with big eyes with a last remaining piece of asparagus sticking out of her mouth. I can see their point. Asparagus tips DO look like tails! They must think we put all kinds of strange things on their plates so why not green tails and tell them not to eat them. Funny kids and poor Sage getting caught eating the "tails"!
